Are you ready to take on a role as CAD Specialist in our Liquid Technologies Department?

Join GEA and become a key contributor to Plant 3D excellence across our projects. As our CAD Specialist, you will serve as the go-to expert for colleagues throughout our Skanderborg organization, supporting both project execution and continuous development of our design capabilities.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will combine hands-on design work with system ownership, technical development, and user support. You will play an important part in ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables while driving best practices and standardization across our CAD environment.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As a CAD Engineer, you will play a central role in developing and improving CAD systems, structures and processes across complex process engineering projects within the food and dairy industries. Acting as the department CAD superuser, you will support both local and global stakeholders while contributing directly to successful project execution, piping design solutions and continuous improvement of CAD standards and workflows.

Working closely with your team, the global resource pool, global excellence teams and IT, you will combine hands-on engineering work with technical coordination, user support and system development. You will also collaborate with equipment suppliers and engineering partners to ensure technical alignment and efficient project execution.

Specifically, you will:

  • Act as CAD superuser for AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Forma
  • Perform direct design tasks in Plant 3D for engineering projects
  • Develop and standardize CAD methods, templates and catalogues
  • Support system installation, upgrades and collaboration with global excellence teams and IT
  • Onboard and train CAD users to ensure effective use of systems

Your Profile / Qualifications

You are analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working across teams in an international engineering environment. With your collaborative approach and technical insight, you enjoy solving complex challenges while supporting colleagues and driving high-quality design work.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Have experience from the food, dairy or related process industries
  • Are proficient in Autodesk Plant 3D or similar CAD software
  • Have knowledge of hygienic process systems or piping design
  • Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken
