We are expanding the team and looking for two fantastic new colleagues and Engineers

  • Position A is for the more experienced engineer.
  • Position B is an 18-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.

Your Role in Aortic Intervention

You will be part of a large, talented development team where there is plenty of room for individuality and personal impact.

As an R&D Engineer in the Aortic Intervention department, you will contribute to the development and maturation of products through every phase of the journey. The role demands both technical insight and creativity, as well as the ability to structure large amounts of information and documentation. You will work on interdisciplinary projects that combine traditional engineering with physiological and clinical understanding, in close collaboration with colleagues in Denmark, Ireland, the United States, and Australia.

You will be involved in all development phases, from initial idea to finished product, including:

  • Collecting requirements for new products and translating them into compelling concepts.
  • Designing and testing prototypes.
  • Preparing product documentation such as Design Input Requirements (DIR), test plans, risk and usability documentation.
  • Completing design verification tests and generating relevant statistical analysis.
  • Validating test methods in cooperation with colleagues in the R&D Process Development department.

What We Expect from You

  • Hold an engineering degree in mechanics, design/innovation, medical technology or similar.
  • Have experience with product development and preparing documentation for global regulatory approvals (preferred).
  • Know that good results come from equal shares of performance and behavior
  • Are a team player and have strong collaboration skills.
  • Speak Danish and are fluent in both spoken and written English (our corporate language).
