Sustainability Specialist / Manager for Our Decarbonisation Products

Would you like to be part of shaping the future of decarbonisation in global logistics by shaping the future structure and governance of DSV’s Decarbonisation Products (e.g., electric & biofuel road transportation, Sustainable Aviation and Marine Fuel)?

Playing a key role in driving integrity, scalability, and operational management, you will help enable the organisation to understand, communicate, and commercialise our Decarbonisation Products.

Join an international team

You will become part of our Decarbonisation Products team in Group Sustainability Insights. We are 5 colleagues working across DSV functions and regions to support the development, governance, commercialisation, and operational integrity of DSV’s Decarbonisation Products.

We are based in Denmark, Germany, and Poland, and we always try to collaborate closely across borders. Because we’re maturing our products, we both build and revisit processes, so we depend on each other. That means you’ll never be alone,

Be the product manager of our Decarbonisation Products

In this role, you will own execution and documentation of book-and-claim transactions, maintaining and improving internal controls, and keeping process documentation of DSV’s internal book-and-claim system updated and audit-ready. You will also align ledger operations with internal and external reporting standards and help to coordinate the annual third-party verification of the Decarbonisation Products.

Moreover, you will:

• Coordinate booking of generated Road reductions and linked reporting across regions to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Lead evaluation of low-carbon fuel suppliers.
• Support scaling of Decarbonisation Products across regions and business units, empowering them to engage confidently with Decarbonisation Products and carbon reporting processes.
• Design and deliver internal training and support materials by translating complex standards into practical internal guidance.
• Develop external communication materials, including customer presentations and website content.
• Support complex customer inquiries related to book-and-claim, DSV’s Decarbonisation Products, and carbon accounting.

Knowledge of carbon accounting – and not afraid to move the status quo

We are looking for a colleague who is curious and can manoeuvre in ambiguity and evolving regulatory environments. You never just do your task – you also think of how to do it better. And if you have an idea, you can drive it forward. Being an excellent communicator, you build trust with both technical experts and commercial stakeholders, providing training and clear guidance as well as translating complex technical topics into clear, actionable messages.

Finally, we imagine that you:

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• Have good knowledge of carbon accounting, preferably within logistics.
• Are fluent in English. Additional languages are an advantage.

You are interested in developing towards broader product management, sustainability strategy, or commercial roles. This means you have to be willing to learn if you do not already:

• Understand value chain decarbonisation mechanisms, including insetting versus offsetting.
• Have knowledge of standards and frameworks such as GHG Protocol, SFC MBM Framework, ISO 14083, and SBTi, and can interpret and apply evolving regulatory and voluntary frameworks.
• Have experience with compliance, audit, and verification processes.
• Have experience with structured communication and training.
• Understand commercial processes such as pricing, sales enablement, or product positioning.
• Have experience with sustainability data systems or digital product environments.

Please note the position is based in either Denmark, Germany or Poland with no relocation provided.
