Change & Transformation Lead

At Blue Water Shipping, we are in the midst of an extensive transformation journey, where digitalisation and new ways of working are central to our future success. We are now looking for an experienced Change & Transformation Lead who can ensure that change is not only designed, but understood, adopted and embedded across the business.

Lead transformation across a global organization

As Change & Transformation Lead, you will take on a central role in driving change across some of our most critical transformation initiatives. You will be closely involved in our ongoing ERP and TMS implementation (BlueCore) and other strategic programmes, where you are expected to contribute quickly and confidently in a complex, international environment.

In this role you will be working very closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams globally, you will define and execute change strategies, build organizational capabilities, and lead a structured, scalable approach to change management. You will also work hands-on with organisational change, translating strategy into concrete change activities that support adoption and sustainable ways of working. A defined change management framework is already in partly place, and a key part of your role will be to further mature and refine this framework to ensure consistency, scalability and relevance across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own and lead the change management strategy across major transformation programs and initiatives
  • Design and implement comprehensive change management plans aligned with business goals
  • Driving and executing change management activities across major transformation programmes
  • Conducting impact, stakeholder and readiness analyses to inform change initiatives
  • Designing and delivering training, workshops and facilitated sessions for diverse audiences
  • Developing and evolving change management tools, methods and templates
  • Working closely with programme and project teams to integrate change management into delivery
  • Lead stakeholder engagement at all levels, including senior leadership alignment
  • Supporting communication and engagement efforts to ensure clarity and alignment across the organisation

You will join the Operational Excellence team, a group of 10 dedicated colleagues working with BEAT (Blue Excellence And Teamwork) and large-scale transformation initiatives including our ERP & TMS program (BlueCore). The team collaborates closely with the wider organisation and plays an important role in shaping how Blue Water develops and improves. Your profile

We are looking for a senior change management professional with solid experience from large, complex and international organisations who can inspire, guide, and influence change at scale. You bring a strong and up-to-date change management toolbox and are comfortable working in environments characterised by multiple stakeholders, parallel initiatives and high expectations.

We expect that you:

  • Have 5–10 years of experience working with organisational change and transformation
  • Have hands-on experience with major business and IT transformations, such as ERP, SAP or TMS implementations
  • Are skilled in analysis, facilitation, training design and stakeholder engagement
  • Work in a structured and methodical way, while remaining pragmatic and solution-oriented
  • Communicate confidently with stakeholders across levels, functions and cultures
  • Are fluent in English; Danish is an advantage

You will receive ongoing professional sparring and support from your manager and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues across the organisation.

Additional information

The role is based in Esbjerg and reports to the VP Operational Excellence. You should be able to be in Esbjerg 2-3 days a week to engage and build strong working relationships with colleagues.
