Your role

As a Software Developer in our UX & Cloud Software team, you will become part of a collaborative team of 15 skilled developers, designers, and domain experts. Here, you will contribute to the development of modern software solutions that connect embedded systems with cloud-based platforms. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to grow your technical skills and gradually take on more responsibility.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Development of software applications across embedded and desktop environments
• Building and improving user interfaces and web applications
• Working with modern technologies such as JavaScript / TypeScript, Vue.js 3, Node.js and cloud-based services
• Automated testing (e.g. Playwright, Vitest, pytest)
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to support implementation, refactoring, test creation, and documentation.

You will be involved in the full development lifecycle – from idea and design to implementation and testing – and work in an agile setup with Scrum and sprint-based development.

Work location

The primary workplace is DEIF’s headquarters in Skive. However, to attract the right candidate, we also offer flexibility to occasionally work from our offices in Aalborg, Silkeborg, or Odense.

Your profile

We’re looking for a motivated and dedicated software developer who is eager to learn, curious about new technologies, and ready to take on new challenges. You don’t necessarily need many years of experience to succeed in this role – the right mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn are just as important.

In addition to this, you bring:

• A relevant educational background in software development, computer science, or similar
• A structured approach to your work and a willingness to develop your skills
• The ability to communicate in English (Danish is an advantage)
