Would you like to be part of a one-of-a-kind transformation in the largest transport and logistics company in the world – eventually growing into or operating as the ‘Control Tower Lead’ for our finance go-live portfolio?

This is your chance to be at the center of how finance transformation makes the hardest calls: country sequencing, release scope bundling, capacity constraints, readiness, and exceptions – shaping predictable execution at scale.

Merging DSV and Schenker, you’ll help build the transparency that enables predictable country implementations and continuous improvement at scale. You will own the portfolio orchestration end-to-end: the integrated release calendar, readiness governance, and ultimately the leadership decision-making process, exposing you to senior management

Daniel Obst, Director, Finance Transformation Office

Join us as we build a new team

Stepping into our Finance Transformation department in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will meet more than 90 international colleagues working globally and across time zones. Currently, we are building a new team within our Finance Transformation Office, which will oversee all financial projects over the next two years, following the Schenker integration. You will be part of building this team alongside a Business Analyst.

Own the portfolio and release orchestration end-to-end

DSV Finance Transformation is establishing a stronger portfolio setup to manage a future with multiple concurrent, multi-country rollouts and a sizeable business-as-usual change pipeline. We are building a “control tower” style capability that orchestrates which changes land where and when. This includes aligning scope, readiness, capacity, and dependencies across Finance, IT, and the business – while project teams still own delivery execution.

You will be responsible for owning our portfolio and orchestrating go-lives end-to-end, including integrated release calendars and master plans across countries and divisions. This will encompass dependency and capacity views across systems/process/data topics. Thus, you will drive the portfolio “heartbeat”: planning cycles, prioritization inputs, exception handling, and decision follow-up – and turn complexity into a clear plan for leaders.

Specifically, you will:

  • Act as gatekeeper for entry/exit criteria per country and ensure readiness is measurable and transparent, as well as prepare and facilitate leadership decision-making forums.
  • Align stakeholders across Finance Transformation, Group Finance, Divisions, and Group IT - ensuring one coherent story and a realistic plan while identifying and managing cross-program interdependencies.
  • Define fit-for-purpose governance: templates, routines, data standards, escalation paths, and reporting that leaders actually use.
  • Drive improvements to portfolio reporting and tool usage (Excel/Power BI/SharePoint/Teams; PPM foundation in Clarity).

Solid experience in portfolio/program management, transformation, or integration

We are looking for a colleague with a strong ability to create alignment across senior stakeholders and communicate clearly and calmly when several wishes and priorities meet.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have several years of experience in portfolio/program management, transformation, integration, consulting, PMO leadership, or similar roles in complex organizations.
  • Hold a proven track record of building pragmatic governance that balances structure with speed (plans, decisions, follow-up).
  • Have a solid understanding of how large-scale systems/process changes work end-to-end (you do not ought to be technical, but you must be fluent in delivery realities).
  • Are fluent in English

Maybe you also have experience with PPM tools (ideally Broadcom Clarity) and portfolio reporting/portfolio data models. And perhaps you have a background in finance transformation and/or ERP implementation contexts (SAP exposure beneficial). It could even be that you have formal PM / continuous improvement certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Lean/Six Sigma). But these are not prerequisites.
