Technical Sales Manager with commercial drive

Pres-Vac Engineering is part of G&O Maritime Group A/S, which develops, manufactures, and sells a range of technical products primarily for the maritime sector. We have several production units in Denmark and are world-leading in key product areas, supplying the largest shipyards and shipping companies.
Pres-Vac Engineering is the global leader in pressure-vacuum valves for tankers, where we are experiencing increased focus on environmentally friendly solutions, including reduction of emissions. To support our continued growth, we’re expanding our already strong and experienced team.
Your qualifications
Maybe you’re already handling international project sales, or you’re coming from the marine industry and feel ready to level up. No need for decades of experience — we’ll help you get fully up to speed. Whether you’re commercially minded with a technical background or technically trained as a marine engineer or technician with an interest in sales, you could be a great fit. If you’ve worked with technical solution sales in the marine sector, that’s a bonus.
We’re hoping to find someone who can see themselves in most of the following:
- Independent and proactive with a high activity level
- Detail-oriented
- Experience in technical project sales, ideally with familiarity with regulatory requirements
- Experience in structuring sales activities, including systematic follow-up on leads and ongoing projects
- Experience in international sales
- Industry experience from e.g. the maritime industry, process plants, pressure-bearing systems, mechanical safety systems, etc.
- English proficiency in writing and speech at negotiation level
- Able to travel up to 55–60 days per year
The new Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing project sales to major shipyards and shipowners across Asia (excluding China).
You will join a well established team in a role with clear development opportunities, gradually taking ownership of your own market segments as you grow. Your work will include preparing quotations — from design input and documentation to followup and order handling — in close collaboration with our technical team and external stakeholders.
