Head of Global Customer IT Infrastructure Solutions (CITIS)

BEUMER is an international company with one of the main development centres located in Aarhus. You will be responsible for a global team of 35 IT infrastructure specialists and be the driving force behind building the market's best IT Infrastructure solutions, while ensuring strong interaction with the software department.

CITIS ensures the successful design, implementation, and handover of technical infrastructure projects (servers, networks, cloud) into operational service. They extend the project delivery teams with IT infrastructure capability, ensuring projects meet infrastructure specifications, quality, performance, and budget targets.

End-to-end delivery responsibility

As our new Head of Global CITIS you will oversee end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth transition to operations. You will both define and maintain a service delivery catalogue ensuring standardised and efficient services, meeting market demands.

Moreover, you will:

  • Manage a global team of IT infrastructure professionals (Infrastructure Architects and Specialists), providing mentorship, setting performance goals, and conducting evaluations.
  • Work together with global procurement in managing third-party service providers, vendors, and hardware/software procurement.
  • Enforce security policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001 and IEC62443).
  • Develop operational procedures, documentation, and training to ensure support readiness.

Strong team management and communication skills

The ideal candidate brings solid experience from a managerial role and possess the ability to align IT Infrastructure services with marked demands organizational goals. You probably hold a bachelor's degree within Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, however as it is a managerial role, we value the relevant experience higher.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders and reporting to management.
  • Have experience in managing infrastructure projects within time and budget constraints.
  • Have strong knowledge of ITIL framework and project management methodologies (PMP or PRINCE2).
  • Have a good understanding of IT-HW, Servers, SAN, networks, firewalls, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Have 5-10+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects.
