As Ecom Content Lead, you’ll become part of our E-commerce team – a team of around 14 dedicated and commercially driven colleagues working to grow hummel’s online business across markets. In E-commerce, we are responsible for the hummel Group’s online growth and digital customer experience across markets – working closely with colleagues across departments as well as external partners. We play on the team that has the most fun – and we always play offense! For us, it’s all about taking initiative, supporting each other, and celebrating both the small and big wins. 🚀

More About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As Content Lead in E-commerce, you will own and drive how hummel’s brand and marketing communication comes to life across our E-commerce channels and markets, with a strong focus on creating engaging and conversion-focused content. Alongside your operational responsibilities, you will act as team lead for a small Content & Creative team, ensuring alignment, quality, and clear direction in content execution – while remaining hands-on in content creation. You will play a key role in adapting campaigns into impactful E-commerce messaging that supports online growth and delivers strong results for both our team and our customers:

  • Own and evolve how content is structured and optimized across the E-commerce customer journey (e.g. PDP, PLP, category pages, and SEO landing pages), before, during, and after purchase.
  • Lead and support a small Content Creative team, including task prioritization, sparring, and ensuring high-quality output across deliverables.
  • Balance leadership responsibilities with a strong operational focus, actively contributing to content creation and optimization.
  • Responsible for crafting copy for landing pages, email, paid media etc., that ensures a seamless and engaging customer journey
  • Define and maintain the tone of voice for hummel’s E-commerce channels, ensuring clear, on-brand communication across markets.
  • Translate brand and marketing communication into sharp, conversion-focused E-commerce copy that resonates with the target audience and drives clicks and sales.
  • Create impactful CTAs and messaging across all E-commerce touchpoints, optimizing content to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Drive SEO-focused content and explore the use of AI tools to strengthen organic traffic, efficiency, and performance in E-commerce copy.
  • Take ownership of content performance, including contribution to traffic, engagement, and conversion.

How to Make the Team

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about their field and a true team player. You take responsibility, thrive in collaboration, and are curious about how we can continuously improve – together.

To succeed in the role, we expect that you:

  • Are a skilled copywriter with a passion for language, and know how to combine creativity with AI tools to scale content production in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • Have hands-on experience working with E-commerce platforms (preferably Shopify) and are comfortable being responsible for all copy within the E-commerce team, ensuring consistent, engaging, and conversion-focused communication across channels
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills and can align multiple teams around content priorities.
  • Have documented experience with performance-driven E-commerce content, with a proven track record of creating copy and messaging that improves engagement, traffic, and conversion.
  • Have hands-on experience with SEO and programmatic SEO, and know how to leverage AI tools to scale high-quality content production and drive organic traffic.
  • Take ownership of E-commerce content, are proactive, and thrive in a role where you combine strategic thinking with hands-on copy creation and optimization.
  • Are commercially minded and analytical, using customer insights, SEO data, and performance metrics to improve content and drive results online.
  • Are structured and execution-driven, used to working in project management tools such as Monday, and comfortable managing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate fluently in Danish and English
