Global Engineering Excellence – Product Manager, Freezer

We are now looking for a Product Manager – Global Freezer to take the lead in our Freezer product area and ensure global alignment across our engineering and production sites in Kolding (Denmark) and Izmir (Turkey).

Your Role & Overall Responsibility as Product Manager, Global Freezer

As the Product Manager for Global Freezer, you will oversee all aspects of Freezer products, including GIF, IF, and WS technologies. Your role involves ensuring smooth and efficient operations across these areas. You will directly manage the Freezer Product and Engineering Managers in both Kolding and Izmir, promoting consistent processes, high-quality standards, and strong team performance in both locations. In this role, you act as the key link between product development, production, automation, and procurement, driving strategic and operational objectives through cross-functional collaboration and inspiring leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Product and Engineering Managers in Kolding and Izmir, supporting their growth and ensuring effective leadership.
• Align team objectives and processes across both sites to foster innovation, maintain quality, and deliver projects on time.
• Standardize and optimize engineering and production processes for GIF, IF, and WS product lines, improving efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with Automation, Procurement, and Production Managers to ensure projects are executed in a timely, cost-effective, and high-quality manner.
• Translate strategic goals set by the Freezer STECO group into actionable plans and clear priorities for the team.
• Ensure that appropriate resources and inventory are available to meet market lead time expectations, based on the sales forecast.

Required Profile

• Technical education, such as an engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Solid experience working with food industry machinery and managing projects within this sector.
• Proven leadership experience, ideally with teams spread across multiple locations.
• Background in matrix organizations, combined with strong commercial understanding.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across different cultures and disciplines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
