Would you like a newly shaped role combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving continuous improvement, integration, and alignment across a global organisation – and the world’s largest transport and logistics company?

And do you want to use your change and stakeholder management skills as you influence how to maintain, improve and integrate our Quality Management Framework?

With a strong team and the support from upper management, your work on this system will support our strategy of operational excellence and give us an integrated system, creating value from Operations to Top Management.

Peter Munch-Hansen, Head of Quality, Risk & Vertical Compliance

Welcome to Quality, Risk & Vertical Compliance

You will also have managerial responsibility for a specialised Quality team of 3 colleagues based in Germany, Sweden and the UK, covering Document Management and Dangerous Goods, where a dedicated subject matter expert holds the technical Dangerous Goods lead.

The position is based at our Group Headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark.

“Our aim is to evolve the way we work with quality, so we share our opinions openly, listen actively and give each other feedback. It’s really important to me that we get to our competences and specialist skills into play,” says Peter.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and integrating DSV’s Integrated Quality Management Framework (Core QMS), using ISO 9001 principles as the structural backbone.

Furthermore, you will be the global process owner (GPO) for Incident Management, ensuring a coherent, enterprise-wide process supporting domains such as quality, health & safety, environment, and security. You will also be the GPO for Controlled Document Management (including Policy Management), providing managerial oversight of the Dangerous Goods function, where a designated subject matter expert holds the technical lead.

Working both strategically and hands-on, you will also:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPI) and use data-driven insights to improve performance and compliance
  • Secure a risk-based approach to process governance, control, and improvement
  • Drive enterprise-level change management, ensuring alignment, adoption, and stakeholder engagement
  • Support top management reviews and other integrated management system activities

Finally, we imagine that you:
