The Danaher Business System Leader (DBSL) is responsible for driving a continuous improvement culture and coaching the implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools through Kaizen events to enhance operational efficiency; quality, delivery, and cost across all manufacturing and supporting processes.

This position reports to the Director, Sensor Assembly & DBS RMED Manufacturing, responsible for DBS at the Copenhagen Manufacturing Site (RMED) and is part of the Site DBS Team located in Radiometer production site, Brønshøj, Denmark and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support and coach value stream managers during the implementation of DBS Fundamental Tools in the different site value streams.
  • Support a DBS continuous improvement culture by providing training and organizing Kaizen Bootcamps.
  • Be responsible for developing site DBS competencies, managing DBS Agents' activities, and the Certified Practitioners (CP) development.
  • Ensure Kaizen is our way of life and results are sustained by driving local and site Kaizen funnel management.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Have good analytical process skills, being able to connect the dots between a shop floor and improvement driven by data.
  • Multiple years of experience with shopfloor LEAN conversion, with a demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize and improve the 8 wastes and flow through practical kaizens that improve targeted KPIs for area(s) of focus.
  • Fluent in both Danish and English.
  • Experience in a similar DBSL role, Lean Partner, CI Leader, Operational Excellence partner or an equivalent Lean Program role.
  • Proficiency in Kaizen Events, experience in leading and facilitating Kaizen Events with proof of sustaining results.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – 1 to 2 weeks per year

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • You hold an academic degree, B.Sc. or similar.
  • Production manager, supervisor, or operations / production leadership experience in a LEAN organization.
  • Experience with teaching LEAN tools and principles.
  • Certification status within fundamental tools such as Standard Work, Daily Management (Performance Boards, Visual Daily stand-up meetings), systematic problem solving, A3 reports.
