Electrical Project Manager

Would you like to take on the project responsibility of electrical control solutions when upgrading high-tech systems in airports and distribution centres all over the world, for a global market leader? Then we might have the right job for you!

Join our growing family-owned company where you get to work with nationalities from across the world as you oversee the electrical aspects of a range of projects – some spanning up to a year. You get to do so as a part of a highly skilled team where you get to utilise and develop your technical insight in our international work environment.

Work on a Number of Integrated Projects at a Time

As our new electrical project manager, you get to be part of a team of 30 highly skilled technical experts, ranging from project managers to technical engineers and coordinators. Here, your responsibility is to help small/large, international airports and logistic companies by upgrading their systems. With the direct report to the Team Manager, Electrical Engineering and Customer Support, your main tasks will be:

  • Drawing up specifications, including technical design engineering.
  • Clarifying and approving questions regarding electricity and electrical control with the customer.
  • Handling the budget and deliveries from suppliers as well as prepare installations and commissioning.
  • Partaking in handing over the project to Customer Support.
  • Preparing and following up on schedules, incl. coordination of interfaces to the other sub-projects: Software and mechanics.
  • Site survey and customer meetings as part of customer intimacy.

You get to be part of each project from start to hand-over which allows you to see the results of your work.

Project Experience and Customer Focused

In your opinion, servicing our customers is not a competence – it is an attitude. We think the same way, and we do our outmost to understand and support the business of our customers. Moreover, we expect that:

  • You have an educational background in marine engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience as a project facilitator, or you have worked on projects within electrical engineering.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English and Danish, proficiency in a third language is considered an advantage but not a requirement.
  • You are committed to providing the ultimate customer experience and are ready to travel up to 50 days a year around the world.
  • You are characterized by your accountability, proactivity and commitment.
  • You are experienced in the implications of Machinery Directive on the design of electrical systems.
  • International experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

As familiarity with UL/US standards is important for success in this role, prior experience is advantageous. However, if you do not have it, we will provide the necessary training.
