Arranging complex travels abroad for people with busy calendars, and where every minute counts, requires a profound understanding of the importance of flexibility and smoothness for the traveller. And this is where you come in.

Since you will be our expert in travel management, I’m very eager to hear your ideas as we shape this function together. You’ll get a say in how our processes are organised as well as the specifics of your own role

Referring to our VP for Group Business Services, you will be placed at our global HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark where you will be part Group Services, a department covering a wide range of support services for the DSV Group such as Procurement, Facility Management, Insurance etc.

We are always ready to discuss what works and what doesn’t, and I believe that this high degree of transparency is part of what makes us a success.

Make travel effortless

You will ensure that complex travels are made as effortless as possible through ideal travelling conditions, especially in terms of smoothness and time consumption but also expenses.

Among other things, you will:

• Book flights, hotels and sometimes rental cars or local drivers using well known travel management systems.
• Stay abreast of new routes and other developments that might affect future travel
• Be available outside of regular office hours on occasion if an urgent need of assistance has arisen.
• Stay updated on the functionalities of our travel management systems i.e. by taking the initiative to meet up with our account manager and continuously assessing whether the system lives up to our needs

You ensure swift trips and smooth cooperation

When planning business trips, you do not settle before the optimal arrangement has been made, and you know how to balance convenience, speed and economy.

Moreover, you take pride in providing a high level of service and know how to establish seamless collaboration with key stakeholders across the organisation.

We furthermore imagine that you:

• Could come from a position as a PA or travel manager or bring experience from the hospitality industry
• Have experience making complex bookings in a global business travel management system like Carlton Wagonlit, FCM or others – we will make sure that you will get the proper training
• Speak and write English fluently – Danish is not a strict requirement
