fire medarbejdere der står og taler sammen

Do you want to create complex 3D layouts in global projects? And are you ready to take the lead in designing factory layouts and process systems that make a real impact on food, pharma and environmental industries?

Join us in a key role, where you drive layout, documentation and design across departments and locations in complex and high-impact engineering projects. Along the way, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in both Denmark and India – and get the chance to share, learn and grow.

GEA Group – Engineering for a better world

You will be part of a skilled and collaborative plant design team working closely with both local and global colleagues – including a dedicated design engineer in India.

Together, you translate project inputs into complete 3D layouts and assembly documentation, making sure every element is placed, documented and connected.

Responsibilities / Tasks

You will be the key design contact for project and system owners, as you will ensure everything comes together on time and in the right quality – from early sales layouts to detailed HF levels and system integration.

In this process, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to ensure that progress, deliverables and project milestones are aligned. One of your tasks in this collaboration is to update and share Navisworks files on a regular basis to ensure visibility and coordination.

You will, for example:

  • create 3D factory layouts and HF Levels using Autodesk Inventor, while managing diagrams and documentation with P&ID and Vault
  • update 3D layouts with system inputs and follow up with system owners to ensure timely and correct integration into the overall layout and interconnecting piping
  • produce 2D drawings with part lists, system arrangements and principal diagrams
  • collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues in India and validate design packages – with occasional travel of up to 20 days per year
  • participate in weekly meetings and keep stakeholders updated with progress and drawings

Your Profile / Qualifications

With your technical mindset and attention to detail, you take ownership of your tasks and ensure that design and documentation are spot-on. You enjoy working across cultures and departments – and you know how to move a project forward.

We also imagine that you:

  • have a background as technical designer, mechanical or process engineer
  • are experienced with Autodesk Inventor, P&ID and preferably Plant 3D
  • are confident working on several projects at different phases simultaneously
  • communicate fluently in both Danish and English.
