Responsibilities / Tasks

Joining us at our HQ in Søborg, you will become part of a highly skilled and collaborative Quality Control team. Our work is highly cross-functional and international, offering broad exposure across departments and projects.

At GEA, we collaborate closely with all our specialized functions, giving you touchpoints across the entire organization globally and locally.

Arjun Murthy, Head of Quality Control

As our new Quality Manager, you will help shape how we uphold the highest industry standards. Your work will be key to securing both product and supplier quality – supporting GEA’s strong reputation in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Your role will involve both operational and strategic responsibilities, giving you a broad scope to impact how quality is ensured across our value chain. You will operate across supplier and customer interfaces, combining inspections, audits, and documentation throughout the production process.

With approximately 80-90 travel days annually, your role involves visits to supplier workshops, customer sites, and GEA locations.

More specifically, you will:

  • Perform detailed inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on dryer components
  • Carry out and participate in FAT sessions at supplier sites and with end customers
  • Prepare and manage inspection plans, reports, and technical documentation
  • Audit supplier processes and contribute to their development and approval
  • Support installation activities and resolve quality-related issues on-site
  • Support Quality assurance activities within the organisation

Your Profile / Qualifications

With a strong technical foundation and solid experience in quality management, you bring structure, curiosity, and accountability to complex tasks. You collaborate confidently across teams and balance hands-on work with strategic thinking, guiding others towards high quality standards.

We also imagine that you:

  • Hold a degree in relevant field of Engineering with hands-on experience in a manufacturing, inspection or industrial setting
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in quality control & management
  • Are experienced in working with ISO 9001, GMP standards, and documentation such as FAT, SAT, and deviation reports
  • Communicate fluently in Danish & English and feel comfortable working internationally
  • Have the flexibility to travel approximately 80–90 days annually
  • Have a valid driving license to drive within EU
