R&D Electronics Engineer

The job

As an Electronics engineer within our Electronics Hardware Platform team, you’ll have the chance to engage with every facet of electronic development. From early design phase to seeing the product into production.

You will have the responsibility of closely collaborating with other electronics engineers and embedded software engineers to develop the electronics, so that it integrates well into our platforms.

Our instruments incorporate a wide range of technologies, and we are looking for a designer with solid experience in developing analog signal circuits, which are essential to our core designs.

You will play a key role in developing our latest electronics hardware platform, focusing on design aspects such as establishing and meeting design requirements, as well as conducting thorough testing and documentation.

We are looking for an engineer with the right skills and mindset to be part of a team of developers addressing a broad spectrum of design challenges within our evolving electronics platform.

The candidate

You have a keen interest in developing electronic products, especially working closely with embedded software. You thrive in taking ideas from concept to implementation and are eager to take on responsibility and show leadership in your tasks.

You are a strong communicator, well-organized, and ambitious. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with your team and maintain a positive attitude, even when facing tight deadlines or challenging situations.

If you’ve got around five years of experience and enjoy diving into complex problems and new tech, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

You hold a degree in electronics engineering and speak English and Danish fluently.

The ideal candidate has experience in the following areas:

  • Electronics development: (analog, digital)
  • Design experience with Orcad/Cadence and simulation tools
  • Understanding how to design for EMC, so your designs integrate well into products.
  • Structured design, planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Meet Mariana – Chemometrician in Research & Development

Mariana is a Spanish Chemometrician specialised in NIR. Coming from a research background her move to FOSS was motivated by a desire to work with real products and real customers. AT FOSS she is involved in the innovation of new products, developing calibrations for the EyeFoss image analysis grain analyser.
