Project Manager

fire medarbejdere der står og taler sammen

Do you want to manage global upgrade projects for spray drying plants – and see your solutions boost efficiency for customers in food, pharma and chemical industries?

Join GEA and be part of a team developing tomorrow’s service solutions. Here, you will influence how industries adopt sustainable technologies, while managing both long-term upgrade projects and quick-turn service tasks.

Responsibilities / Tasks

At our office in Søborg, you will join a specialised service team of six project managers who act as a competence centre for drying technologies. Together, you support local GEA offices around the world by sharing expertise, delivering second-level service and ensuring that upgrade projects are successfully implemented.

As a team, you collaborate closely, exchange knowledge and contribute to developing new service products that strengthen GEA’s global service business.

As Project Manager, your core mission is to make sure customers’ drying plants perform at their best. You are the one who picks up a customer enquiry, translates it into a concrete upgrade project and ensures that the solution is delivered – from the very first scope to final implementation.

Some days, you handle urgent support requests through our global CRM system; other days, you are deep into planning and driving long-term upgrades that stretch over several months. Your role is both technical and commercial, and you work closely with local GEA offices, vendors and customers to make sure every project creates real value.

You will for example:

  • handle enquiries for upgrade solutions through our global CRM system
  • manage tenders and ensure a smooth conversion into successful projects
  • deliver upgrade projects in close collaboration with local GEA offices
  • provide technical support to colleagues worldwide.

Your Profile / Qualifications

On a personal level, you are structured and detail-oriented, while still keeping the bigger picture in mind. You enjoy working in an international environment where communication and cultural curiosity are essential. With a proactive mindset, you take ownership of projects and find motivation in delivering value to both colleagues and customers.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • bring project management skills combined with a technical background
  • speak and write English fluently (Danish is an advantage)
  • have experience working with service and support, ideally in an international setting
  • are flexible to travel globally up to 60 days per year
  • want to contribute actively to improving and developing the service business.
