The job
As a simulation student helper, you play a central role in the development process and you will get unique opportunities to work with many different and challenging technologies. As a part of the Mechanical team you are expected to work closely together with local colleagues in Hillerød and possibly colleagues in Hungary.
The job will involve working on one or more projects to support design decisions with CFD simulations and possibly FEA. Starting with the project definition and solution strategy, followed by execution and presentation of results, you will closely follow a number of projects and represent the Mechanical team when needed to ensure that the simulation results are utilized in the best possible way.
The candidate
You must share our passion for mechanical and technological development at a high level. You are committed to deliver quality simulations and communicate the findings. You are a natural team player and people like working with you because you have a positive mindset even when you are challenged.
The preferred candidate currently studies mechanical engineering or other relevant field and has a minimum of 1 year left of education. Furthermore, the candidate should have experience in some of the following:
- Structured and process-oriented work approach
- Good communication skills
- English language at a high level
- Theoretical knowledge of fluid + solid mechanics and/or physics
- Experience with CFD Software (Preferably Star CCM+)
- Experience with CAD e.g. Autodesk Inventor
- Bonus for experience with FEA software

Tasks include
In the position as simulation student helper your tasks will be varied and include, but is not limited to:
- CFD flow and heat transfer simulations
- CFD multi physics simulations
- FEA simulations using Nastran In-CAD
- Data treatment using MATLAB
- (Might include) Web App design using MATLAB
- Report results on projects both written and verbally
- Assess simulation potential when presented with design problem
- Other relevant tasks concerning our mechanical development process might occur
