Do you want to use your ability to look beyond the numbers in a global sustainability context?
At DSV, you will use your experience and educational background in accounting and finance to evaluate energy projects from a financial and analytical point of view.
You will be involved in setting global standards and governance, building robust business cases, following up on performance realisation, and supporting long-term investment planning and capital allocation for sustainable growth.
“We are working towards ONE global energy setup that supports and advances our emission target. This includes the electrification of our transports with charging infrastructure and “green power”, also allowing seamless charging across borders.
That means further developing the implemented template and governance, being strong in understanding finance, looking at scalability, and ensuring alignment on several levels – it also means numerous opportunities for you to take part in and challenge ideas and find solutions,” says Heidi Klinck-Hansen, Project Director, Group Operational Sustainability.
DSV and Schenker have joined forces, forming a world-leading player in transport and logistics. Combining the strengths of DSV and Schenker yields combined expertise, expanded capacity, and enhanced service offerings across air freight, sea freight, contract logistics, and road transport.
You will join the Finance & Business Development team under Group Operational Sustainability (GOS) at DSV headquarters in Hedehusene. Working closely with GOS Management and our Global Charging team, you will provide support and financial advisory for DSV Energy projects across DSV-managed sites.
As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for DSV Energy business case governance, ensuring consistency, strategic alignment, training, and support across teams and countries. You will help safeguard transparency and accountability by tracking actual projects versus business cases for realisation and performance.
Part of your role will be to support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and financial analysis across energy-related activities. More specifically, you will:
Finally, you will contribute to internal presentations of training sessions, among other initiatives, which are prepared and conducted to promote awareness of DSV Energy's processes, governance, and change management across multiple levels.
Thanks to your strong problem-solving skills and clear communication, you collaborate effectively across varied teams and manage stakeholder relationships with confidence. Your financial experience and background enable you to challenge stakeholder input when necessary.
While you always make decisions and recommendations grounded in facts and data, you engage in discussions with a constructive and positive mindset. You enjoy finding and suggesting solutions in an environment with a variety of tasks and deadlines.
You preferably have some experience in an international organisation (and it is a plus if you have worked with sustainability and/or energy). Additionally, you bring:
