Senior Analyst - Group Operational Sustainability

You will join the Finance & Business Development team under Group Operational Sustainability (GOS) at DSV headquarters in Hedehusene. Working closely with GOS Management and our Global Charging team, you will provide support and financial advisory for DSV Energy projects across DSV-managed sites.

Lead business case oversight for DSV Energy projects

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for DSV Energy business case governance, ensuring consistency, strategic alignment, training, and support across teams and countries. You will help safeguard transparency and accountability by tracking actual projects versus business cases for realisation and performance.

Part of your role will be to support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and financial analysis across energy-related activities. More specifically, you will:

• Develop and provide business cases for both full-scale energy initiatives, medium-scale projects, and charging infrastructure projects
• Support financial modelling and scenario planning to evaluate project feasibility and to support capital allocation decisions within the DSV Energy roadmap
• Drive transparency and accountability through monthly management reports, tracking actual vs. business case for realisation and performance and following up with countries
• Work together with country finance and project managers on business cases and follow up on performance and realisation
• Participate in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure ONE global energy setup and to align business development efforts with sustainability and operational targets

Finally, you will contribute to internal presentations of training sessions, among other initiatives, which are prepared and conducted to promote awareness of DSV Energy's processes, governance, and change management across multiple levels.

Strong accounting background and communication skills

Thanks to your strong problem-solving skills and clear communication, you collaborate effectively across varied teams and manage stakeholder relationships with confidence. Your financial experience and background enable you to challenge stakeholder input when necessary.

While you always make decisions and recommendations grounded in facts and data, you engage in discussions with a constructive and positive mindset. You enjoy finding and suggesting solutions in an environment with a variety of tasks and deadlines.

You preferably have some experience in an international organisation (and it is a plus if you have worked with sustainability and/or energy). Additionally, you bring:

• An educational background in finance, accounting or tax, combined with at least 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting and/or controlling
• The ability to understand numbers and see beyond the calculations of a business case and reporting
• In-depth knowledge of business case calculations and the basis for decision-making regarding investment and capital allocation
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
