Would you like to drive service projects that extend the lifetime of critical production facilities? And do you want to strengthen customer relationships that shape long-term growth?
In this role, you will be responsible for managing service and project sales in the Chemical & Pharma sector. You’ll act as the link between customers and GEA’s service organization, turning technical expertise into tailored solutions that support efficiency, modernization, and sustainability.
In Søborg, you’ll join the Service Sales Chemical & Pharma team – a group of 7 skilled colleagues who handle everything from the first customer contact to the signed contract. You’ll find a relaxed and humorous atmosphere, where close collaboration and active knowledge sharing drive both team spirit and results.
As Area Sales Manager, you are not just selling — you are shaping the way our customers extend the lifetime and performance of their production plants. Your role is to transform complex technical demands into clear, value-driven solutions. That means understanding how Spray Drying and Fluid Bed systems work, listening to customers’ operational challenges, and guiding them toward upgrades, modernization, and sustainability projects that make their facilities more efficient and future-proof.
Customer partner: You build strong, long-term relationships with customers worldwide, acting as their trusted advisor for service solutions. Your ability to listen, ask the right questions, and provide credible advice is what keeps customers coming back.
Sales driver: You manage the full process — from the first inquiry to the signed contract — ensuring that every quotation and project reflects both technical insight and commercial acumen. You are responsible for sales in your own markets and drive growth in collaboration with local offices and global colleagues.
Technology translator: Working closely with GEA’s technology centers and internal experts, you turn customer needs into practical projects, making sure solutions are not only technically sound but also commercially attractive.
This role is about building bridges: between customers and engineers, between short-term service needs and long-term partnerships, and between sustainability goals and concrete technical upgrades. You will spend time both with customers in the field and with global colleagues, ensuring that every project contributes to GEA’s position as a market leader in Chemical & Pharma service solutions.
This position involves some international travel to meet customers, attend events, and visit partners — with schedules planned to ensure a good work-life balance.
With a strong technical foundation and a commercial mindset, you thrive at the intersection of engineering and business. You know how to listen to customers, ask the right questions, and translate their challenges into practical solutions that create measurable value.
Your ability to combine technical insight with business acumen makes you the trusted advisor customers turn to when they need guidance on upgrades, modernization, or sustainability projects.
