Production Controller, Finance Kvadrat

We’re looking for a highly dedicated and skilled Production Controller who is an expert in production and project controlling and always three steps ahead in planning for the future.

About the role

As Production Controller in Kvadrat’s Finance department, you will be involved in the monthly and yearly closing, while acting as a trusted sparring partner for our Supply Chain & Production finance team.

This role has a large degree of interactions with project managers, product managers and other managers within Kvadrat’s project design and production. You will also collaborate with Kvadrat’s Group Business Intelligence team and Group management for ad hoc analysis.

You will be part of a small, dedicated Supply Chain & Production Finance Team consisting of 4 employees, and a larger global finance team supporting the global footprint of Kvadrat Group Supply Chain & Production.

Key responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Calculate actual and projected revenue and costs for projects, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Perform cost and project controlling.
• Maintain compliance by regularly updating hourly rates, including currency rate impacts, for capitalized project work.
• Develop and refine forecasting models for profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow projections, including inventory.
• Generate financial reports and analysis for monthly business reviews with senior management, referring to Senior Director, Supply Chain & Production, Finance.
• Oversee project business case templates including project calculator, ensuring accurate data.
• Collaborate with the PMs, and Commercial product line managers to enhance financial transparency and strategic decision-making.
• Lead and support process improvements within the finance team to support business growth and operational efficiency, including group invoicing process and group inventory management.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cost assessments, margin analysis and optimization, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Participation in the monthly and annual closing, including KPIs.
• Ad hoc financial analysis.

The position is based out of Ebeltoft but will also have a global outreach and occasionally there will be demanding travel days to Group Subsidiaries around the globe as well as to our office in Copenhagen.

Qualifications & Competencies

You hold a university education focusing on finance, HD, cand.merc.(aud.) or similar.

You have at least 5 years of experience within business controlling from a project-based organization.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has strong accounting skills.
• Experience in managing high volume transactional finance data.
• Proven track record from a dynamic and fast changing environment.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• High competence in business economics combined with a superior flair for practical use of IT tools is mandatory. Is an expert at Excel. Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and complex data analysis.
• Experience with developing own skills and working in an international team.
• Has sharp analytical sense, the ability to work independently on own topics and make decisions.
• Is self-motivated, proactive and self-directed.
• Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Is positive and energetic.
• Is fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.
