Senior Platform Owner of the Digital Manufacturing Platform within Global Operations Digital Excellence

As a Senior Platform Owner of the Digital Manufacturing Platform within Global Operations Digital Excellence, you will own the global roll-out, platform systems, vendor management, development, and value proposition for our Digital Manufacturing Platform, which integrates systems such as Tulip, HighByte, and Ignition.

We are on a journey to digitalize our manufacturing sites by implementing solutions such as electronic batch records, review by exception, OEE, and real-time machine and production data. To support this, we are building a scalable platform to address specific production floor use cases.

In this role, you will be the business owner of the platform and take lead on the value creation across our sites in the USA, Denmark, Poland, and Finland. With support from the Application Manager and the Technical Architect, you will build a global roadmap for roll-out. To do this, you must continuously identify local use cases, develop business cases, and prioritize the roll-out and budget.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Operations Digital Excellence and is part of the Global Strategic Projects, OPS PMO, and Global Operations Digital Excellence Department located in Brønshøj, Denmark.

This is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Foster Global Collaboration: Build and nurture relationships with cross-functional teams across different regions, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Drive Innovation: Lead initiatives that push the boundaries of digital manufacturing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Shape Digital Transformation: Play a key role in advancing our digital transformation journey, influencing how technology is integrated into our manufacturing processes globally. Identify opportunities for the growth and adoption of our Industry 4.0 Platform.
  • Create real impact: Manage a portfolio of shopfloor digitalization projects from inception to value and turn strategic goals into benefits realization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or IT.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT or Operations within regulated industries.
  • Proficient in English at an advanced level, suitable for a global role with a Danish-based hiring manager.
  • Practical experience in leading modernization, digitalization, and rollout of global systems and bringing products and platform to maturity.
  • High degree of stakeholder management, presentation skills, communication skills, structured work approach, and professionalism.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel 5-10% – we have 7 sites globally that we support with Digitalization.

It would be an advantage if you:

  • Have experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Have proven experience with change management, innovation management and leading cultural transformation.
  • Have familiarity with event-driven architectures, Industry 4.0, and systems such as Ignition, Tulip, HighByte, Azure Event Grid, and Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions.
