The Senior Category Manager, Plastics for Radiometer is responsible for developing and implementing the sourcing strategy within the Plastics category.
You will work in an environment where we always strive for continuous improvement. You will also undertake supplier management including the integration of supplier innovation elements into the organization's process. Other tasks would include:
Being in charge of negotiating at a high level and enter into global agreements and contracts with Radiometers suppliers.
Ensuring high quality and on-time delivery for the right prices and under efficient conditions.
Cooperation with Radiometers other departments and subsidiaries to further develop and optimize our commerce with the suppliers.
Securing leverage through existing and new Danaher agreements and cooperation.
You will join the Global Strategic Procurement department, based in Brønshøj, in an onsite role. The team consists of 16 dedicated professionals, organized across direct and indirect material categories. You’ll become part of a collaborative and well-established group known for its openness, positive energy, and sense of humor.
Many of your closest colleagues have been with Radiometer for many years, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge they’re eager to share.
Set objectives to be achieved through the sourcing strategy related to the spend category and monitor achievement
Achieve direct material cost reduction
Secure optimal payments terms
Ensure the agreed service levels with internal stakeholders are adhered to
Ensure contract compliance
Educational background as Cand.merc or equivalent
5-10 years of experience in direct material procurement, preferably within the Plastics category
Proven high-level negotiation skills and experience with global contracts
Strong ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate across teams and subsidiaries
Skilled in preparing professional tender documents and implementing global sourcing strategies
Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships
Proficient in driving results, leveraging data, and working effectively within a team
