As part of our continued dedication to the aortic therapy space, we are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Product Management (Thoracic Aortic) to take ownership of our thoracic aortic product line and help shape its future.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for both people and business management and for driving strategy, execution, and performance across the entire product lifecycle (TPLC).

You will lead a diverse team consisting of Product Managers based in Denmark, Canada and UK, respectively. As their manager, you will be responsible for performance management, development planning, coaching, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture across borders.

The position is preferred based in Europe – the specific location is to be determined – and you should expect regular travel across the region as well as to other key markets, including the US.

Driving the Future of Thoracic Aortic Solutions—From Concept to Market

Your main responsibilities

As Senior Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the thoracic aortic product portfolio from feasibility to retirement.
  • Develop and drive portfolio strategies in alignment with division and company goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams including R&D, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and more.
  • Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and development.
  • Ensure products meet customers’ needs, comply with quality standards, and support financial targets.
  • Drive go-to-market planning, product rollouts, and pricing strategies in collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency across the product line.
  • Play a key role in developing business plans, performance metrics, and annual budgets.
  • Ensure team and portfolio compliance with all relevant regulatory and company standards.

Experienced Product Management leader with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader who brings:

  • A university degree in a relevant field – advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) are a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including product management, engineering, marketing, or sales – preferably within the medical device industry.
  • At least 3 years of direct people leadership experience.
  • Proven track record managing global product portfolios across the full lifecycle.
  • In-depth understanding of the aortic space – thoracic aortic experience preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to execute against plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring teams to achieve their full potential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
