Do you want to use your technical expertise to create and design bagage handling systems that make a difference – all over the world? At BEUMER Group, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to help develop the next generation of mechanical concepts for our high-tech, fully automated baggage handling systems in airports worldwide.
In our ambitious Product Engineering team, you’ll be a key player in developing new project-specific concepts, improving existing solutions, and creating product variants. You’ll be deeply involved in the technical work – from the first ideas to testing and commissioning at the customer site. In other words, you’ll get to follow your designs all the way into the real world!
You’ll work from our office in Aarhus, joining a strong and dedicated team of around 20 colleagues. Here, we combine professionalism, collaboration, and an informal tone with the opportunity to work on world-class projects. We collaborate closely with colleagues in mechanics, electrical engineering, software, production, planning, and sales – both in Denmark and internationally.
We promise you’ll never be bored – there are both professional and personal challenges that will help you grow every single day.
The position includes annual travel days, which can be planned flexibly.
You have a technical background as a Mechanical Engineer (or equivalent) and some professional experience with 3D design and 2D technical documentation. You’re used to working with complex systems – and if you have a knack for solutions that combine mechanics, electrical, and software, that’s a clear plus.
You communicate fluently in both Danish and English and are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
At BEUMER Group, you don’t just get an exciting job – you become part of a global company with room to grow, strong values, and great development opportunities.
If you have questions regarding the job, please feel free to contact Product Engineering Manager, Airport, Thoroddur Bjørnsson at +45 2912 5939.
