Would you like to join Gram Equipment and play a key role as Finance Manager responsible for Global Accounting, Processes, and Financial Compliance? We are looking for a structured and hands-on manager to take responsibility for our global accounting framework, statutory reporting, and daily finance operations.

The position

Based in our headquarters in Kolding, we are looking for a strong and competent Finance Manager for Gram Equipment A/S. As Finance Manager, you will become a key player in our finance community. You will report to the Finance Director and work closely with our Group CFO to lead accounting processes across all entities, ensure compliance and consistency, and provide expert guidance to our regional finance teams. You will be responsible for daily accounting operations at our Danish headquarters in Kolding and set the direction for our subsidiaries in Denmark, Turkey, Italy, China, and the US.

Key responsibilities

Your area of responsibility will be driving the monthly close process, ensuring correct and timely accounting as a foundation for high-quality reporting, and among other things, include:

  • Own and continuously improve the global month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure effective, smooth, and efficient processes, globally aligned with our other legal entities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of GRAM Equipment A/S as well as consolidated financial statements in accordance with AARL/local GAAP, covering all group entities.
  • Manage statutory reporting requirements, including filings with tax authorities, regulators, and auditors.
  • Coordinate external audits globally, including audit planning and follow-up on findings.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, global accounting policies, and general ledger governance to ensure consistency and safeguard assets.
  • Provide specialist guidance on VAT and Transfer Pricing, and support regional and local finance teams to ensure alignment with group standards and controls.
  • Effectively executing the financial processes in Business Central and constantly driving effectiveness and efficiency in these globally aligned with our other legal entities.
  • Driving and ensuring the execution of ad hoc initiatives and participation in transformation projects, challenging the existing processes to improve and reduce non-value-adding activities.
  • Automate and digitalize workflows of transactional processes as the next step after implementing a new Business Central ERP platform.
  • Continue ongoing transformation of moving data and accounting into our BI platform for automated, visual financial dashboards and variance analysis.

  • You hold a relevant financial degree, e.g., a Master´s degree (Cand.Merc.Aud) or a Graduate Diploma (HD) in accounting or equivalent.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or controlling, and/or as an auditor of a reputable audit firm, combined with relevant experience from an international manufacturing company.
  • You have strong functional knowledge of the Danish Financial Statements Act and consolidation.
  • You are good at communicating at multiple levels, with the ability to translate complex issues clearly and concisely. Additionally, you have a thorough and analytical way of working and excel in building transparent and trustworthy business partnerships.
  • You have people management experience or are looking for it, enjoy working towards a goal together with others, taking ownership of your assignments, and thrive in a busy environment.
  • You are a “self-starter” and can prioritize your work and effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Knowledge of Business Central is a key advantage.
  • As you will work with colleagues from all over the world, speaking and writing in English is a prerequisite.
