fire medarbejdere der står og taler sammen

Do you want full ownership of large-scale, customer-focused engineering projects from start to finish?

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced project manager with technical expertise to lead complex projects, typically lasting 12 to 18 months.

Joining GEA, you will gain a strong network of colleagues from different functions, including our team of project managers. We value knowledge sharing and collaborate closely with our customers to ensure tailored solutions that meet their production needs.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As one of our senior project managers, you will be based at our office in Skanderborg, where you will join a dedicated engineering team and be part of our project management organisation.

You can look forward to collaborating with multiple stakeholders across departments and functions as you work on state-of-the-art engineering projects. Doing so, you will directly influence not only project and financial progress, but more importantly, the satisfaction of our customers.

You will typically drive between 1 and 3 projects through all phases following our project management structure. More specifically, you will:

  • Ensure the clarification, specification and execution of each project from the initial quotation phase to commissioning, handover, follow-up and project completion
  • Generate buy-in among your stakeholders and motivate your project team to ensure that all aspects of a project are moving in the same direction
  • Make sure that your projects are delivered safely within budget and according to scope, quality and schedule
  • Oversee and ensure that customers are managed properly and that their satisfaction levels remain high during the execution of each project

You can expect some travel within the Nordic region to visit sites, implement projects and participate in customer meetings as part of the project process.

Your Profile / Qualifications

You are highly organised and excel at maintaining an overview of the entire project lifecycle, identifying potential challenges early and proactively finding effective solutions. Your strong communication skills allow you to mediate between stakeholders, manage change effectively and resolve unforeseen issues as they arise.

Moreover, we imagine that you bring:

  • Project management experience (preferably from a global company in our industry)
  • A relevant project management certification or an interest in upgrading your skills
  • A degree in engineering, process engineering, dairy engineering or a similar field
  • Excellent collaboration skills and an appreciation for working in teams
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
