License Manager - External Digital Solutions

Do you thrive in shaping strategies for license management and contribute to delivering high-quality projects? Are you motivated by challenging and improving processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvements, while working with a range of important stakeholders and collaborate closely with colleagues from all over the world?
If so, we might have the right job for you!

As a License Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all licensing agreements between Beumer, our customers, and the software vendors. You will play a critical role in securing and managing licensing requirements, monitoring software usage, and ensuring that all systems and services are fully compliant with legal, contractual, and regulatory standards.

Expert in License Management Strategies and Processes

We are a global organization, but you will be working from our office in Aarhus and be part of Global Customer IT-Infrastructure Solutions (CITIS) consisting of 30 highly skilled colleagues. Here, your responsibilities will be:

  • Developing and implementing the strategy for the license management area and managing governance.
  • Work closely with the business lines, Procurement, Legal, and the rest of the CITIS team to align licensing with operational needs towards our global costumers.
  • Contributing to the development of operational plans and high-quality projects with a direct link to our functional success.
  • Participating in contract negotiations for large license vendors and perform license management on contracts globally.
  • Implementing SAM (Software Asset Management) processes and tools.
  • Performing IT License audits

Experienced License Manager

You bring a solid experience within software license management and have a proven record managing relationships with software vendors and customers in a license compliance role. Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have relevant education within an IT-discipline with strong technical skills and knowledge.
  • Possess experience from license management of software from either a large or small IT-software company, preferably having worked within a large global business organization.
  • Have a strong understanding of various software licensing models (per-user, per-device, subscription-based etc.)
  • Have experience with SAM (soft asset management) processes and tools.
  • Have knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance standards related to software licensing.

Moreover, you are an effective communicator, and you possess strong decision-making, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as you will be collaborating with multiple stakeholders including internal teams, customers, and external software vendors. Success in this position involves challenging and developing processes, practices and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement - and a business flair for finding solutions.

This is a newly established role at Beumer, and we expect you to take the lead in shaping how it will function within the context of our organisation.
