About the job

As our new Senior Hardware Designer, you’ll play a central role in the development and maintenance of our marine instruments portfolio. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team working closely with product management, customers, and external partners to design cutting-edge hardware solutions tailored to real-world maritime needs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Essential in the development of our next-generation digital indicators, gaining sufficient insight to be able to drive future enhancements and application design on this platform
• Develop and qualify new marine solutions in close collaboration with product managers and customers
• Specify, select, and qualify sensors and transducers in cooperation with external suppliers
• Maintain and improve existing products in response to component changes and evolving customer requirements
• Build internal test setups for automated hardware and software testing
• Collaborate with Operations on new product introductions and manufacturing test equipment
• Create and maintain technical product documentation
• Manage and collaborate with external consultants and partners

Your profile

You are a motivated and technically skilled hardware designer who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges. With a strong technical foundation and a can-do attitude, you take ownership of your work from concept to completion.

In addition to this, you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field
• Experience in product design with a strong understanding of electromechanical design, including cooling and housing, DFM, and serviceability
• Experience with AUX design and functional/reliability testing
• Familiarity with marine applications is a strong advantage
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
