Design Manager for CuBig II

Advansor is looking for a Design Manager for Design CuBig II to become a part of an international team driven by finding the best customer solutions

Your role

As Design Manager you enable your team of 10 employees to design orders for production based on the master. The team have competencies within mechanical and electrical engineering and work across the organisation to ensure the right basic for production e.g. BOM and electrical- and mechanical documentation.

Besides managing the team, you are first point of contact for the product family CuBig II. You will participate in meeting with Sales, R&D and Operations to discuss and prioritize options- and configurations.

You will report to our COO and be based at our head office in Brabrand, Aarhus.

Main tasks

Your main tasks are:

  • Technical responsible for the product family within mechanical – and electrical area
  • Cost efficient engineering of the product family
  • Manage, motivate and develop your team
  • Collaborate with the Configuration team to maintain Product Master
  • Ensure alignment and knowledge sharing across the Design teams to optimize standards and procedures
  • Ensure input for configuration of products from Operations and the team
  • Participate in meetings with Sales, R&D and Operations to discuss product development, prioritize configurations and sales requests
  • Design for manufacturing and ensure continuously improvements

Your background

You hold a B. Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and has a proven track of managing multinational teams, working with configurable products in the intersection of Sales, R&D and Operations.

To succeed in the role, you need to have a systematic and structured approach. As a person, you are self-driven, with a strong focus on the goal. You value a good working environment and like to contribute to the good atmosphere yourself.
