Group Process Specialist for our growing Order to Cash area

Our span of influence goes from Billing (SAP triggered) to Payment, including interactions with operational/commercial teams responsible for earlier parts of the process.

Let us build and grow together

In our Group Process Owner team, we are 13 colleagues based in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and the Philippines. The incumbent of this role will be located in Hedehusene, DK.

We are part of the Finance Transformation department, and we focus on the various finance processes within DSV. Given that we deal with change and optimization, a lot of new initiatives are going on, and we work and learn as a team.

You will be part of our Order to Cash team with 2 other colleagues. We are a growing team, and you will have plenty of opportunities to influence the way we work as we build the team and grow together.

Own parts of the OTC process and ensure end-to-end documentation

As our new Group Process Specialist, you will support Anika on specific projects and activities related to OTC. Your main focus will be on supporting the Group Process Owner to set up a baseline by taking ownership of parts of the OTC process and ensuring end-to-end Business Process documentation. This documentation will be the basis for underneath work instructions, test, and training material owned by our Finance Transformation Business Change Management colleagues.

Moreover, you will:

  • Work on continuous improvement and optimization as well as key user network engagement
  • Create and improve standardization across all activities in OTC in close co-operation with the Group Process Owner across the department, Business Owners, Finance Business Change Management & Finance IT for wider process change implementation
  • Describe and document current processes & future changes in the OTC area, focusing on e.g. centralization, automation, productivity, quality, and compliance
  • Be responsible for OTC process documentation maintenance and review ideas for improvement or challenges with key stakeholders
  • Provide process support during implementations/rollouts and validate/analyse/support Requests for Change
  • Actively research trends in the OTC areas and liaise with other companies on experience to get an outside in view for DSV.

Sound understanding of standard Accounting/Finance/Reporting processes

On a personal level, you are enthusiastic about new things and like to learn – and you know how to gather information to get the details you need for your tasks. Moreover, you are a team player who enjoys open communication, dares to ask questions, but is also able to run your own day, prioritize and get things done.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have a sound understanding of and experience with standard Accounting/Finance/Reporting processes – preferably also OTC
  • Have knowledge of SAP ERP and an understanding of the technical aspects /functionality in a large ERP environment
  • Have experience working with process descriptions and flowcharts
  • Are able to be part of complex projects and engage with multiple stakeholders
  • Are fluent in English
