Manufacturing Specialist – secure manufacturability from day one

fire medarbejdere der står og taler sammen

Do you want to play a pivotal role in turning complex designs into tangible, robust products – while working in a company where product excellence and sustainability concerns go hand in hand?

Then join us in a position where your work contributes directly to smarter, more efficient production across global industries. And what is more, we offer:

  • A position where your feedback shapes not only individual components, but how entire systems are built
  • A chance to collaborate closely with skilled technical specialists as well as procurement and suppliers.

Responsibilities / Tasks

You will join our CoC Freeze Drying & Extraction Technologies team consisting of 7 Product Owners and Senior Specialists, all driven by technical excellence and collaboration. Each of us is highly specialized within our fields as well as truly committed to delivering robust, manufacturable solutions that make a real difference – together.

As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will ensure our stainless-steel vessels and mechanical components are designed for manufacturability, produced efficiently, and meet the highest standards of quality and cost.

Specifically, you will, in collaboration, with the product owners:

  • Evaluate and approve mechanical designs with an eye for efficient production
  • Select suitable materials and manufacturing methods, including forming, welding, and surface treatment – while always ensuring compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with design engineers to apply “design for manufacturing” principles
  • Communicate with suppliers on technical specifications, tolerances, and finishes
  • Contribute to procurement and cost-efficiency strategies
  • Assist in resolving technical deviations and promote continuous improvement.

Your Profile / Qualifications

On a personal level, you are not just a good communicator — you are someone who can bridge the gap between design intent and production realities. You enjoy working closely with engineers, suppliers, and quality teams and you know how to turn technical insight into practical solutions.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant engineering degree (minimum BSc) and an understanding of stainless-steel vessels and manufacturing processes – apprenticeship or technician background is a plus
  • Have hands-on experience from workshops and product inspections as well as experience with product compliance and relevant engineering standards
  • Are familiar with PDM, ERP, and 2D/3D engineering tools
  • Are fluent in English

Travel Activity

This role involves a significant amount of travel, as you will regularly visit manufacturing sites and suppliers, both domestically and internationally. On-site presence is essential to ensure technical alignment, support supplier development, and follow up on manufacturing quality and progress. You should expect approximately 30–50 travel days per year, depending on project needs.
