At Business Line Environmental, we are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to promote our flue gas cleaning solutions in the waste-to-energy industries, and wastewater treatment solutions in power industries. In this important position, you will work closely with a supportive team, focusing on driving sales and building strong customer relationships. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on our business and collaborate with dedicated colleagues across various sectors.

Responsibilities / Tasks

The Area Sales Manager position has a strong international focus, as our clients are based worldwide. This role will require approximately 50–60 days of international travel each year.

Your tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Be mainly responsible within a certain international market area to explore and develop new market opportunities.
  • Collect market intelligence and conduct market analysis for business strategies.
  • Have direct customer contact and coordinate technical and commercial communication with our partners, which includes preparation of quotations and follow up.
  • Lead commercial and technical negotiations with our customers.

Your Profile / Qualifications

We are looking for an outgoing, proactive individual with a strong commercial mindset and knowledge of industrial production processes, particularly Spray drying Technology.

You can identify clients' needs and match them with our offerings using your solid business understanding. Also, your collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and cross-cultural understanding enable you to build strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in technical project sales, preferably in the environmental engineering sector
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge into compelling solutions for our customers.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and customers simultaneously without compromising on quality.
  • Willingness to thrive in a sales-driven environment, collaborating closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 60 days per year.
