Stock Control Representative at DSV Trailer Workshops

At DSV Global Equipment Services (GES), we keep Europe moving. With a fleet of over 9,500 trailers and multiple workshops across the continent, our Trailer Workshop in Horsens plays a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing trailers for both DSV and external customers. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Stock Control Representative to join our team in Horsens. In this role, you will be responsible for both stock management and administrative processes that help keep our workshop operations efficient and organized.

As a Stock Control Representative, you will be at the heart of our workshop operations, ensuring that all stock is accurately managed and that administrative tasks are efficiently processed. You will work closely with a team of skilled mechanics, workshop manager, and other professionals to maintain smooth operations, ensuring that parts are available, and all inventory transactions are properly recorded.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Track and maintain accurate stock levels for parts and materials required by the workshop.
• Negotiating and ordering spare parts for DSV workshops.
• Process incoming orders, manage job cards, and update stock records in our IT systems.
• Ensure that stock is well-organized and easily accessible for the workshop team.
• Verify and approve supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantities.
• Investigate and process claims for damaged trailers or parts, ensuring proper documentation is in place.

What we’re looking for

We need someone who is hands-on, organized, and proactive in managing both stock and administrative processes within a busy workshop environment. To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• At least 2 years of experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a workshop, vehicle maintenance, or logistics environment.
• Strong experience with administrative tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and report generation.
• You must be highly organized, with excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate stock records and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
• Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Language skills: Danish and English
