If you dream of a career in procurement and would like to gain insight into different business areas during your apprenticeship, then at GEA Process Engineering A/S we are looking for a sharp procurement trainee to start in August 2025.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As a Procurement Trainee, you will become part of a strong and dedicated team of helpful colleagues who will challenge your everyday work with a wide variety of tasks but will also act as your mentors to help you solve them. You will receive thorough training with us, while also being able to combine your mandatory school periods as part of your education. In this way, we ensure that you acquire both the theoretical and practical knowledge within the field. Gradually, you will be assigned work tasks and areas of responsibility as you develop your skills and competencies during the program.

We offer a challenging workday with varied tasks, and as a trainee you will be involved in all aspects of the daily procurement work, such as:

  • Project planning
  • Purchasing of stock, demand, and drawing items
  • Follow-up and registration of documents on your own purchase orders
  • Contacting suppliers – both new and existing
  • Participating in supplier meetings and contract negotiations
  • Preparing a trainee project, which must be presented and possibly implemented in the company
  • Invoice approval

Your Profile / Qualifications

As our future trainee, it is important that you are passionate about working with procurement, have a flair for numbers and systems, and can see yourself in a dynamic and rapidly growing company. In addition, you must be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Have completed an HHX/STX/HF supplemented with an EUD student course of 5-10 weeks, or are an HG2, EUD GF2, or EUX student
  • Have good communication skills, both written and spoken, in Danish and English
  • Are good at Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Like to keep things organized and work in a structured manner
  • Take responsibility and are motivated by making a difference
  • Are flexible and happy to help your colleagues reach their goals
  • Are a team player with a pleasant personality who has a positive influence on your surroundings
  • Are outgoing and not afraid to talk to many people
