You can look forward to joining Enterprise Design at DSV headquarters in Hedehusene. Here, you will be part of a small, dynamic team that works closely with colleagues across all business divisions and provides direct input to senior management.

Our objective as a team is to translate business strategies and digital ambitions into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes by utilizing business architecture thinking and methodologies.

Translate business goals into actionable architectural plans

As a Senior Business Architect, you will contribute to the proactive development and maintenance of DSV’s business architecture framework and handbook. Working alongside your team, you will facilitate collaboration and build a coalition among business divisions, IT operations, marketing and finance.

Your responsibilities will include documenting architectural designs, decisions and roadmaps to ensure stakeholders understand clearly.

Supporting the development of strategic initiatives by transforming business strategy into actionable roadmaps, you will:

  • Develop and operationalize business architecture frameworks, including value stream and capability
  • Translate business goals into actionable architectural plans and outcomes by applying our business architecture framework
  • Apply the framework to align business capabilities with technology and identify heatmaps with gaps and opportunities
  • Communicate progress, achievements and challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

You will gain a comprehensive understanding of our existing business capabilities, processes, data, systems, and organisation. With this knowledge, you will contribute to the creation of a holistic architectural framework that encompasses all aspects of the digital transformation journey.

Analytical problem-solver with strong communication skills

First and foremost, you are a great team player who enjoys collaborating with open and cooperative colleagues.

You are also analytical and practical in your problem-solving approach, capable of conceptualizing and visualizing complex issues. You can effectively implement strategic initiatives by applying business architecture methodologies, including modeling value streams and capability maps, conducting heat mapping and outlining roadmaps.

To achieve this, you will need the following:

  • Experience with the principles of business architecture in large-scale organisations
  • Experience driving transformation and taking theory into operational execution
  • A strong best-practice toolkit for business architecture, along with the ability to demonstrate its application in practice
  • IT acumen and a good understanding of business strategy
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
