We are building and operating a hybrid platform

At DSV, we are well underway with building our new hybrid platform for both public and private clouds. Joining this endeavour, you become part of The HCP group in Global IT. Here, you will join a small, agile team to help us onboard our myriad of applications to this new platform.

Jes Sørensen, your new team's Release Train Engineer

Help us onboard and migrate hundreds of applications

As our infrastructure delivery manager, you will be working closely with our onboarding team and engage with current and potential application users to motivate and facilitate their migration to our new platform.

You will bridge the requirements of the applications and the capabilities of the platform, advising application teams on their optimal migration path and the platform product managers on gaps. You will also act as a single point of contact to the application teams before, during and after onboarding, ensuring that the necessary contacts are established with the HCP teams, depending on their need.

Some of your key tasks include:

  • Driving application onboarding and supporting teams during onboarding
  • Keeping the onboarding funnel updated and transparent
  • Raising onboarding impediments to the relevant service PO for awareness and prioritisation
  • Reporting on onboarding activities
  • Continuously improving the onboarding process and ensuring that onboarding flow matches company expectations
  • Keeping potential application owners and stakeholders informed on platform benefits, current plans and onboarding successes

Doing so, you will be playing a vital part in the initial phase as you ensure that the applications users are informed of the benefits of our platform. But you will also be an active player in managing user expectations in the final phases once all information is gathered in the backlog.

Organised, analytical and persuasive

You are well-organised and have an analytical mindset, which enables you to deliver to a strategic agenda. This also makes you great at managing stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

As a strong communicator equipped with solid inter-personal skills, you know how to get everyone onboard and convey messages at different levels of abstraction depending on the target audience. Your ability to work independently is solid, and you show empathy and transparency and are equipped with a good sense of humor.

In addition, we imagine that you:

  • Bring a relevant degree in IT or engineering
  • Have hands-on experience from a similar position
  • Are an experienced agile practitioner, possibly as a product owner or product manager in SCRUM or SAFe
  • Bring working knowledge of JIRA
  • Have a general understanding of application architecture, cloud architecture and data bases
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
