Controller Group Finance & Compliance, Ebeltoft
We’re looking for a highly dedicated and forward-thinking specialist who is an expert in accounting, auditing, company law, tax and transfer pricing.
As Controller in Kvadrat Group Finance, you will be involved in the monthly and yearly closing, including the consolidation process at Group level. You will act as a trusted sparring partner towards the finance organization.
The position requires you to be hands-on and it requires you to drive your own topics and find solutions independently.
You will be part of a small, dedicated Group Finance Team consisting of 4 employees. The Group Finance Team’s key responsibility is that the 45 legal entities within the group deliver high quality reporting for decision making in accordance with global and local guidelines including legal and accounting standards.

Key focus areas
- Involvement in the monthly and yearly closing, including consolidation at Group level
- Act as an accounting, tax and company law sparring partner towards the global finance organization consisting of 57 employees
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation regarding TP, Tax and accounting
- Key role in external yearly group audits
- Create (Group) finance policies
- Close collaboration with legal department on company law topics
- Ad hoc financial analysis
Expectations
Education
We are looking for a new colleague with a university education with a focus on finance (HD, Cand. Merc. Aud. or similar).
Experience
We prefer it if you have a minimum of three years of relevant experience within external auditing at a Big Four company or similar. Controller experience from an international company is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Competencies
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is a hands-on specialist who focuses on creating results
- Has strong accounting skills
- Has strong company law skills
- Has a strong tax, transfer pricing and vat understanding. Including the ability to prepare tax returns, transfer pricing documentation and to manage general tax compliance for the companies.
- Is an expert in Excel
- Has sharp analytical sense, the ability to work independently on own topics and make decisions
- Is self-motivated, proactive and self-directed.
- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Is positive and energetic
- Is fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing
