Director Finance Transformation Office

Do you want to manage a high-impact finance transformation portfolio in a Fortune 500 company? Are you ready to challenge senior stakeholders and make critical decisions that shape the financial direction of a global business?

At DSV, you will head the Finance Transformation Office, drive portfolio execution, and ensure that strategic initiatives deliver real value.

Welcome to DSV and a high-paced, high-impact finance team

Based at our HQ in Hedehusene, you will head our Finance Transformation Office, which is still being shaped – 3 colleagues currently, expecting to grow to 6 (you will have 2-3 people in direct report). Together we handle our pipeline, intake and portfolio management, as well as the integration of the financial systems and processes of DSV’s acquisition of DB Schenker.

You will further join a dedicated leadership team, whom you meet with a couple of times a week to ensure coherence in the requirements from the business and deliverables from the team.

You set the direction for DSV’s financial transformation portfolio

In this senior leadership position, you become the key figure in overseeing DSV’s finance transformation roadmap and the country go-lives in connection with post-merger integrations. From day one, you take charge of a critical portfolio and a steady pipeline of global initiatives.

More specifically, you will:

  • Prioritize and balance the project portfolio office, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely delivery
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across Group Finance and the executive level of other Group Functions
  • Take a strategic approach to benefits realization, helping the business make informed, value-driven decisions
  • Conduct and follow up on resource management across the Finance Transformation sections and the portfolio of projects and programs.
  • Drive process improvements and operational excellence within the transformation function
  • Contribute to recruiting and onboarding new colleagues to strengthen and scale the transformation office team
  • Support the EVP of Finance Transformation


Strategic finance management profile with sharp prioritization skills

You are resilient, structured and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift, and strategic clarity is essential. You bring a strong personal drive and the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders while keeping a clear focus on delivery.

Furthermore, we imagine that you bring:

  • Minimum ten years of experience working with finance transformation, portfolio or programme management
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally with responsibility for senior specialists or cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of financial organizations and operating models – preferably from a Group Finance function
  • Experience with large-scale integration or M&A-related transformation
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills across senior stakeholder groups
  • Continuous stakeholder management focus with an eye for both aligning expectations and promoting the value of Finance Transformation
