IT Business Analyst to drive integrations for e-commerce logistics product

At DSV, the world’s largest transport and logistics company, we are rapidly growing our e-commerce logistics offering. As a result, we’re looking for an IT Business Analyst to lead the charge in integrations with carriers and other logistics providers.

By driving these integrations, you will play a critical role in maturing our product and empowering customers with more choices. You’ll also help ensure that our development team integrates seamlessly with carriers, and that our applications work optimally together.

Located in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will join the Parcel team – a diverse, international team that values collaboration and takes pride in delivering outstanding solutions while having fun along the way.

Your role as an IT Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst, you will oversee the entire integration process – from gathering requirements from customers and internal stakeholders, to ensuring seamless implementation by the development team. While working with cross-functional teams, you will be the subject matter expert for carrier integrations and implementation. This role offers a unique challenge, as you'll not only integrate external systems but also improve existing processes to drive efficiency and innovation.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Leading the end-to-end integration process, from requirement gathering to actual integration done in collaboration with our IT team
  • Facilitating integration meetings with external logistics providers to ensure a deep understanding of their technical setup and offering
  • Working closely together with architects and the development team to prepare well written user stories and sufficient documentation
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, and ensure alignment across product areas
  • Configuring and validating integrations between our platform and the transport companies via Postman
  • Owning the documentation of the Carriers in our Confluence space
  • Conducting UATs with the business and development team

Moreover, you will have 10-15 annual travel days across Europe, where you will engage with local stakeholders, gathering their insights on our new line of business and exploring their current setups for inspiration.

We look for an IT Business Analyst who has:

  • Experience in Business Analysis and system integration
  • An understanding of APIs and experience with Postman for testing and validation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both business and IT teams
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
  • A holistic approach to product development and an ability to see issues from a customer’s perspective
  • A proactive mindset, taking initiative to identify and solve challenges
  • Preferably experience from the transport and logistics industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of articulating ideas, project statuses, and technical issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
