Project Manager

Are you motivated by leading major international projects? Do you enjoy collaborating with customers and suppliers across the world? Then join us and take the lead in driving large international projects whilst using your commercial, contractual, managerial, and technical competences to deliver baggage handling systems to airports worldwide.

Reporting to the Director of Projects, you will join our Airport Integration and Project Management department, where you will join a group of experienced Project Managers and Technical Project Managers, driving complex projects from start to handover to the customer.

Lead complex technical projects

As a Project Manager, you are fully responsible for your projects, from project initiation to implementation and final handover. You work together with Technical Project Managers and Engineers to design a system that fulfils the obligations towards our customer. You will be working with BEUMER Group colleagues all over the world, and your tasks will include:

  • Leading the project team and suppliers
  • Creating project time schedules and ongoing follow-up
  • Overseeing project budgets and maintaining requirements traceability
  • Acquiring and contracting external suppliers
  • Driving resource planning and allocation together with relevant project stakeholders
  • Performing risk analysis
  • Ongoing communication with the customer.

All in all, you are the leader of a team that has one goal: to deliver the best baggage handling system to our customer.

Cross-cultural understanding and international project experience

To meet and act on diverse challenges across cultures and continents, you know how to use your entrepreneurial spirit to come up with solutions. That is why we hope that you bring the following qualifications to the job:

  • Have experience with leading complex international projects, managing budget responsibility, creating, and implementing time schedules as well as handling various stakeholders
  • Be a strong communicator who can manage a project organisation by leading and motivating teams, also "from a distance" and across cultures
  • Be structured and pro-active
  • Have a profound commercial and contractual understanding combined with a good flair for technology and software
  • Be willing to travel frequently – around 80 days a year - or even relocate yourself for a longer period on our project locations
  • Communicate effortlessly in English. An additional language is a plus.
  • We expect you can document your PM experience.
