Technical skilled Production Engineer for Production Support

Advansor is looking for a Production Engineer for our Production Technology Department (PTD) to become a part of an international team driven by finding the best customer solutions.

What is Production Technology Department?

Production Technology Department is the team supporting our production departments in producing efficiently, in right quality and on time. The tasks differ from daily shopfloor support to participating in internal operational projects. Common for all tasks and projects are that Production Supports deliveries are based on technical insight in product platforms, assembly processes and single components. The insights are combined with an ability to connect theory with practice and always finding solutions.

Your role

As Production Engineer, your hands-on insight and interest in the daily tasks in production enables you to understand the challenges in detail to an extend where you can give guidance and take decisions – which you are expected to do both in training sessions and via daily contact. The cooperation with other departments is extensive and includes mainly Production, Quality, Planning, Procurement and R&D.

You will join a team with dedicated and skilled colleagues. Based on main competences and interests the team has both shared and individual areas of responsibilities. To meet the demands and ensure that the production lines run efficiently, we now further strengthen our Production Technology Department by hiring a Production Engineer. Based on the experience and competences you bring and achieve during on-boarding and over time, you will also get your own areas of responsibility.

Main tasks

  • Take part in taking our Production Technology Department to the next level
  • Creating and maintaining procedures, implementing work processes and work instructions
  • Take part in improvement projects in our production
  • Optimization of lead time and production efficiency
  • Ensure high availability of production equipment
  • Facilitate training of blue collar employees
  • Root cause analysis and implementation of short-term and long-term corrective actions
  • Handling of non-conformance reports to ensure that we continuously improve quality.

Your mindset and background

To succeed in the role, you have a strong technical interest, and supporting and cooperating with others are a part of your DNA. You must be able to communicate clear and constructively with all, as you will have contact with a lot of colleagues daily. As Team Advansor consists of colleagues from more than 35 different nationalities it is a requirement that you can communicate in English both orally and in writing.

In general, a positive and structured approach combined with a sense of urgency is important. You need to be good at working on several tasks in parallel by structuring your own time and accepting continuously re-prioritising based on the daily changes in the need for support. Sometimes the solution is found by keeping the overview, by digging into the detail, or by combining both, why you must master both disciplines.

You are technical skilled, for instance technician or Graduate in Production Technology. In other words, a practitioner with an academic approach or vice versa. Any relevant experience from the refrigeration industry or OEM manufacturing companies dealing with assembly production of machinery is considered an advantage.
