Senior Director, Global Communication Services

Set the direction and lead the organisation to support DSV’s strategy

The Global Communications Services organisation consists of +110 talented and committed colleagues spread across the globe. Heading up the area, you will be overall responsible for our Network Operations, Engineering and Technology teams as well as Network Vendor Management, Data Centres, Network Automation, Network Security and Voice Operations.

Collaborating with your leadership team, you will:

  • Drive continuous development of the area and its people to ensure a fit-for-purpose and fit-for-future organisation.
  • Ensure stable operations and delivery on key strategic projects within time and scope.
  • Set and drive the strategy for the Global Communication Services area.
  • Automate, optimise, and further modernise the area to enable the digital strategy for DSV.
  • Collaborate closely with the rest of the Global IT organisation and ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.

In addition, you will join the IT Operations & Services (ITOS) leadership team, where you will contribute to the development of the ITOS organisation by setting the strategy and working on strategic projects within Global IT.

Experienced leader with a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills

In previous roles, you have gained extensive experience with leading enterprise Network organisations with an international scope. You are an experienced leader, and you combine your leadership skills with your enterprise understanding and strategic mindset set and drive a strategy for your area while also empowering and developing your organisation to take responsibility and ownership. In addition, you apply your solid stakeholder management skills with ease.

In addition, we also emphasise that you:

  • Have proven experience with driving transformations and organisational changes.
  • Have a strong understanding of and interest in how digitisation and automation can be utilised to support business growth.
  • Possess a strong commercial mindset and understanding of the needs from business and costumers.
  • Have strong communication skills and speak and write English fluently – Danish is not a prerequisite.
