  • Join GE HealthCare in software development for ultrasound scanners. Are you interested in working with DevOps, AI Frameworks and C++? Then this is your opportunity to become part of an innovative team where your work has a real impact on people’s lives around the world.

We are exploring new opportunities in our core segment and need more hands in our software development team in Herlev. We are seeking a newly graduated software developer who can supplement our development team, partly as a C++ developer and partly as a DevOps engineer. Our software is critical in ultrasound scanners, ensuring doctors have the right tools for diagnosing an illness or performing precise surgical procedures using ultrasound as a guide.

Our R&D division consists of multiple departments, including hardware, software, mechanics, project management, new technology and applications, and system and production testing. We are around 90 employees in the R&D division in Denmark and approximately 20 colleagues in India and Poland, employed in testing and software development.

As our new Software Engineer, you will be part of the software development team tasked with delivering software for ultrasound scanners. The team consists of about 40 developers, mostly focused on delivering and maintaining features.

As our new Software Developer your initial tasks will include:

    • Develop and maintain a framework for AI based image algorithms
    • Maintain and extend our CI/CD system using Jenkins

We use Windows, C++, Qt, Visual Studio, Git, CMake, gtest, Python and Tensorflow. For CI/CD we use Jenkins hosted on Linux, docker, scripts on both Windows and Linux and Groovy. For both tasks you will work closely with experienced engineers to complete the tasks.

    Your professional background:

We expect that you hold a degree as a Computer Scientist or Software Engineer at a B.Sc. level or higher and that you:

    • Are newly graduated or have some years of work experience
    • Have a big interest in programming languages, SW development and technology in general
    • Have experience with C++ and various other programming languages and script languages on Windows and Linux
    • Are familiar with AI frameworks e.g. Tensorflow
    • Are curious and have a can-do attitude
    • Speak and write English. It is a benefit if you speak and write Danish
