Manager for our Divisional Product Owner team in DSV Road

Head a skilled Product Owner team

DSV is developing multiple in-house applications intended for use across all of DSV. To ensure that all interests are met, each DSV division (Air & Sea, Road and Solution) has appointed one divisional product owner to a divisional Product Owner team. These serve as a link between their relevant applications and the business.

You will be heading this Divisional Product Owner team consisting of 10 business product owners representing multiple applications used in the DSV Road division. Each member works with a wide range of stakeholders across DSV – and so will you.

Even though each of us mostly works with a wide array of stakeholders outside of the team, we have strong and constructive teamwork where we utilise our common profile,

says Manager, Product Management Maximilian Pfander.

Also, you will be cooperating with the Road BCM management team of 9 managers, meeting regularly to discuss priorities and resource allocation, change initiatives and solve challenges the department faces – all with the aim of lifting our organisation to an even higher level.

You will be based in Hedehusene, Denmark, where we expect you to work a minimum of 4 days per week to maintain visibility as a manager.

Coach, develop and empower your team to perform

Since each member of your new team works across DSV with their own sets of applications, you will have touch points across the majority of DSV Road and other group functions – from management level to specialists.

More specifically, you will:

  • Coach, support, develop and encourage your team
  • Ensure that Road divisional product owners maintain good cooperation with corporate product and platform owners as well as with corresponding IT responsible and counterparts of other DSV divisions
  • Ensure that corporate strategic initiatives are properly aligned within the Road division and considered in its business processes and data model
  • Ensure good user experience and adoption of the application inside the Road division

Skilled manager with great people skills

You understand how your team operates on an individual level. Moreover, you know how to effectively engage with the extensive stakeholder landscape inherent to this role.

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

  • Solid management experience, including the development of high-level employees
  • Great communication skills, enabling you to tailor messages to your target group – whether that be management or specialists
  • Experience working in corporate setup representing needs of a business vertical towards group functions and IT
  • Written and oral English proficiency
  • Some insight into the road industry or the curiosity to dive into it
