Lead Investigation Project Manager, Engineering

    As the Lead Investigation Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality and compliance projects forward through the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) process. This process involves the thorough evaluation, analysis, and investigation of product, process, or quality system nonconformities, as well as the management of subsequent corrective and preventive actions.

    This position represents a newly established role, offering you the unique opportunity to actively shape how we manage quality and compliance projects in Engineering.     As our new Lead Investigation Project Manager your typical tasks will include:

    • All aspects of an investigation/CAPA: creating a clear problem statement, containment, determine actions, maintain records and documentation, supervision, execution, elimination of recurrence, communication, and closure.
    • Project managing assigned investigations/CAPA: planning, tracking of activities, defining project risks and potential roadblocks. Find solutions to mitigate and eliminate. Estimate resources and ensure allocation. Project communication and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Facilitate the problem-solving process: Problem statement, tracking current state, facilitate root cause analysis and selection.
    • Ensure investigation/CAPA resolution on time while adhering to our quality standards.
    • Be proactive in identifying and evaluating nonconformance of potential product and process quality problems as well as analyzing trends to make improvements.
    • Managing and motivating stakeholders.

    Your professional background:

    We prefer you bring at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline. You have experience from medical device or other regulated industry. Furthermore, you have certification and/or experience managing projects and LEAN and Six Sigma principles.

    In addition, you have:

    • Experience with planning, tracking of activities, defining project risks and potential roadblocks. Finding solutions to mitigate and eliminate. Estimating resources and ensuring allocation. Project communication and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Experience in problem-solving methods such as: 5-Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Contradiction matrix, Fault Tree Analysis.
    • Experience facilitating workshops: planning executing and completing: Ensuring clear communication, motivating team, be good at listening and structuring information, confidence to challenge thinking, be proactive and flexible. Ensuring clear and concrete output
    • Strong verbal and written communication in English
    • An understanding of product development and maintenance processes.
    • Can communicate technical information in layman’s terms.
    • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
    • An analytical, structured, flexible, and curious mindset
