    As our new Lead System Designer, you will join our Product Engineering department of 20 dedicated colleagues with a mix of seniority and educational backgrounds. The three teams in the department are responsible for Design Input, Traceability, Risk Management, IFUs and System Verification. This role is new, so this is a great opportunity to help shape the job.

    As our new Lead System Designer your typical tasks will include:

    • Technical Subject Matter Expert in NPI projects
    • Lead Defect Management Review Board
    • Lead Design Verification strategy
    • Lead Technical Design Reviews and TDR calendar
    • Ensure technical requirements are complete, correct, and testable
    • Create DHF- and DMR index
    • Support technical knowledge transfer during Design Transfer
    • Support Risk Manager in identifying and mitigating technical risks
    • Support review & evaluation of technical issues identified in initial production units
    • Participate in program scope discussions & decisions

    Your professional background:

    You bring a university degree in engineering or related discipline. You have at least 5 years relevant technical experience from MedTech or other regulated industry, and you have experience working in NPI projects.

    • Strong technical understanding
    • Knowledge of project management disciplines: planning, risk management, stakeholder management and problem solving
    • Natural leader
    • Strong verbal and written communication in English
    • Understanding of product development
    • Able to communicate technical information in layman’s terms
    • Analytical and structured in problem solving
    • Confident communicator on all levels
    • Curious, proactive, and decisive
