Herlev
Join GE HealthCare in C++ development for ultrasound. Are you interested in working in cross functional teams where your analytical skills in software architecture and design are tested? This is your opportunity to become part of an innovative team where your work has a real impact on people’s lives around the world.
As our new Software Engineer, you will be part of a full stack feature team of 10 developers. We are a department of 50 employees, all developing software for our ultrasound scanners. You will work close together with highly competent software developers and collaborate cross functionally with UX designers, Marketing, Application specialists, Quality, and other teams.
We are facing new opportunities in our core segment and need more hands to solve the new tasks. That is why we are seeking a new software developer, who can learn our software platform and adapt to new technologies and development methods. Our software is critical in ensuring that the surgeon has the right tools for diagnosing an illness or performing precise surgical procedures using ultrasound as a guide.
Our R&D division consists of multiple departments, including hardware, software, mechanics, project management, new technology and applications, and system and production testing. We are around 90 employees in the R&D division in Denmark and approximately 15 colleagues in India and Poland, employed in testing and software development.
Based on your profile, the tasks can cover all aspects of our system, e.g., UI, 3D modelling focused specifically on linear algebra, as well as handling of patient data to support the doctor’s workflow. We use Windows, C++, Qt, Visual Studio, Git, Cmake, Jenkins, gtest and work with agile practices. Although we use a Windows platform, we strive to write the code as close to pure C++ as possible.
You hold a degree as Computer Scientist or Software Engineer at a B.Sc. level or higher
