Senior IT Developer – SAP S/4HANA ABAP Specialist

Join the truly global Record to Report team

Based out of our HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will join the Record to Report Team within the Business Solutions department. The team consists of 12 employees, and together, we are responsible for the full life cycle of SAP FI/CO/SD/MM projects globally (with a focus on SAP S/HANA).

In addition, we support and improve our business processes and make sure that we stay compliant with legal regulations in various countries.

From plans and overview to development and implementation

As our new Senior IT developer, you will work independently, though in close collaboration with the colleague assigned to the tasks. You will become one of the ABAP Specialists within the Record to Report Team, which is a close-knit unit, and all colleagues will provide help and guidance when needed and possible.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of the projects
  • Conduct technical support to the functional teams on DSV SAP modules: GL, AR, AM, AP, SD, MM, FI
  • Provide clear and detailed technical documentation that complements the functional documentation
  • Work with the Functional team and other SAP professionals to advise and implement the best and most efficient solutions
  • Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions

On occasion, there will be some travel requirements – e.g. for our annual team meeting and to optimise project initiation and implementation through face-to-face interaction.

Solid experience as an ABAP developer

You know how to work in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment while demonstrating the ability to multi-task, so that you can navigate between an array of tasks during the day.

We also imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar
  • S/4 HANA experience, specifically in CDS Views and new programming paradigm
  • Extensive experience in SAP ERP as an ABAP developer
  • Advanced knowledge of IDOC and Webservice creation, maintenance and configuration
  • Advanced knowledge of OO and Webdynpro programming
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Workflow (development, extension, debugging)
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Experience with Fiori platform, UI5 development for Fiori (creation, extension, debugging) and OData services
  • Good interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication
  • The ability and knowledge to drive tasks forward with proactive communication
